Organised by the Borough Council of King’s Lynn & West Norfolk, Radio West Norfolk and Festival Too, the Battle of the Bands (BOTB) competition is open to any band in the Norfolk, Suffolk, Cambridgeshire and Lincolnshire area.

Description
The Green at Hunstanton is a large grassy area near the town centre, surrounded by the Town Hall, Golden Lion Hotel, Princess Theatre, Bowlers bowling alley and the Central Promenade. The Bandstand on The Green hosts many performances by brass bands and other events between April and September. The origins of the Cross on the Green opposite the town hall are unclear, but it is thought to have been placed there in the nineteenth-century, possibly brought from a nearby village.
